Take a class with studio member, Eva Conrad (@Deposit Unknown) and explore the foundational techniques of handbuilt ceramics. From functional pottery to sculptural forms, Eva will guide students through essential methods including pinch pots, coil building, slab construction, and glazing.
Students will also take part in loading their own work into the electric kilns as a group, gaining hands-on experience with the core principles of electric kiln operation. All kiln programming and firing will be managed by instructors or studio staff.
Included in the class: unlimited use of our studio clay (Standard 240G), access to all studio glazes, and shared studio tools.
Students pay $0.03 per cubic inch for each firing—bisque and glaze firings are charged separately for a total of $0.06 per cubic inch.
Please note that studio access outside of scheduled class time is not permitted. If you’d like additional time to work, we invite you to join our membership program, which offers 24/7 access. This policy supports our member‑run model and ensures that independent makers have dedicated space and time to create.

Eva Conrad, Ceramicist and Painter is a part of the current resurgence of the pattern and decoration movement. Conrad intentionally straddles contemporary art and craft traditions; through an interest in the history of creating beyond necessity... She is distinguishing space in a way that has you wondering where the borders really are. Her work emerges in the world as a reflection on beautiful moments of attentive introspection, intuition and curious play amid seemingly rigid binary systems.
